Afrikaans is a colourful expressive language that’s always evolving, constantly creating new words to keep up with English. In that spirit, we decided to give Afrikaans the perfect birthday gift: a brand-new, original Afrikaans birthday song. After all, we discovered that the song used for the past 100 years wasn’t actually original.
